Handheld Raman Spectrometer
The Handheld Raman Spectrometer is a portable identification device designed to support a wide range of field operations across various industries and task forces.
The system can be configured with specialized substance libraries to meet different operational requirements. Available databases support applications for public safety, law enforcement, border and customs inspection, emergency response, hazardous materials (HazMat) identification, pharmaceutical verification, chemical inspection, and industrial quality control. Additional customized libraries can also be developed to meet specific customer requirements.
Utilizing advanced Raman spectroscopy technology, the instrument provides rapid, non-destructive identification of unknown and suspicious substances, including solids, powders, pastes, gels, and liquids. Measurements can be performed directly through transparent or translucent packaging and containers, eliminating the need for sample preparation and significantly reducing the risk of operator exposure to potentially hazardous materials.
Its lightweight, ergonomic design and fast identification capability make it an ideal solution for on-site inspections, field investigations, emergency response, customs screening, forensic analysis, and industrial applications where accurate substance identification is critical.
