SWIR Hyperspectral Camera
The SWIR Hyperspectral Imager is a compact and lightweight short-wave infrared (SWIR) hyperspectral camera designed for integration with drones and other remote-sensing platforms. It features high spatial and spectral resolution together with a wide field of imaging, making it suitable for both airborne and ground-based hyperspectral applications.
The system consists of two main parts: an imaging camera and a hyperspectrometer. The hyperspectrometer utilizes transmission grating technology combined with excellent optical aberration correction to provide high-quality hyperspectral imaging performance.
The SWIR Hyperspectral Imager uses a high-resolution, high-performance cooled InGaAs detector with configurations supporting either 640 × 512 pixels or 1280 × 1024 pixels. The cooled detector provides clear imaging, high sensitivity, and low noise for reliable acquisition of spectral information.
Its compact and lightweight construction makes the SWIR Hyperspectral Imager suitable for mounting on multi-rotor drones. The optical design can also be configured with a bending optical bench arrangement, making it suitable for fixed-wing drones and drones with short landing gear.
The SWIR Hyperspectral Imager is designed for in-field measurement of spectral information from plants, water, soil, and other targets. The acquired spectral data can be analyzed to determine physical and chemical characteristics and can be combined with spectral databases to develop analytical models.
These models can be applied to applications such as:
- Plant classification
- Plant identification
- Plant growth monitoring
- Vegetation analysis
- Soil analysis
- Water analysis
- Remote sensing
- Spectral characterization
- Agricultural monitoring
- Environmental monitoring
With its compact design, high spatial and spectral resolution, low-noise cooled InGaAs detector, and push-broom imaging technology, the SWIR Hyperspectral Imager can be extended to a wide range of field and laboratory applications.
The system can be integrated into rotary scanning systems, indoor scanning systems, and drone-based remote-sensing platforms, providing valuable spectral information for agriculture, environmental research, material analysis, and other scientific applications.
